Terms and Conditions

Appointment:

  • To schedule an appointment for psychological services at Meet Ur Therapy, please book directly from our online appointment system. We will assist you once we receive your booking details.

  • Once your appointment is confirmed, the time will be reserved exclusively for you, you will receive the confirmation email with your appointment details, including the counselling location or link to access the online meeting room.

  • If you are under 18 years old, please have your legal guardian’s consent to proceed with the booking.

  • Due to our service capacities, we do not currently accept clients under 15 years of age.

Cancellation policy:

  • A minimum of “48 business hours” notice before the scheduled appointment time. This allows us to open up the session availability for other clients in time.

  • A cancellation fee of the 1-hour session fee will apply to any changes including late cancellation, rescheduling and no-attendance.

Late Arrival:

  • If you are late for your session, it will end as it is scheduled to end and the full session fee will apply.

No Attendance:

  • If you miss a scheduled appointment without prior notice, the full standard session fee will still be charged to your credit card and you are required to pay the fee.

Gap Fee:

  • If your appointment is partially paid for by a third party, such as a private health insurance company or WorkSafe VIC, any gap fee uncovered is the client’s responsibility to pay and the payment is due on the appointment date by your appointment time.

Appointment Modification:

  • If your appointment is changed by our practice, we will arrange a new time convenient for you and the therapist without any charge.

Confidentiality

  • All your personal information disclosed while using the psychological services at Meet Ur Therapy will be kept confidential and handled according to the laws, regulations, codes and ethical guidelines of engaging in counselling and psychological services in Australia.

Agreement

  • By proceeding to an appointment booking online, you agree to disclose your personal information, including sensitive information, to Meet Ur Therapy and allow the practice and the associated third parties and systems, including Easypractice, Coviu, and Google, to collect, use, disclose, possess, and process your information for the provision of psychological services only. All your personal information will be processed with a secured and encrypted connection and handled safely and securely by our associated third-party software systems.
